It was wonderful to hold our first tournament of 2022 last Sunday, even if the weather was not quite as kind as had originally been forecast! There were no prizes for winning-just the opportunity to play and have a go!
Six pairs took part so well done to all of you – Mum, Dad, Rusty Rackets, OTT Juniors with an age span of 64 years, so there was quite a mix on court involving green and full tennis!
Played on the park courts and Court 2, the tournament was a round robin with everybody playing everybody in a five game match, so it was an opportunity to put their tennis skills into practice socialise, and have some FUN!
£60 was raised for our clubhouse fund, and a good start to these monthly tournaments.
